With a starting price of just 999 rupees, Jio has released the Internet-enabled Jio Bharat V2 phone. On July 7, 2023, beta testing will start for the first million Jio Bharat phones. Despite having a basic phone’s appearance, this phone is intelligent and 4G capable.

Additionally, it supports a 128GB SD memory card and has capabilities like FM radio and HD voice calling. The phone sports a 4.5-inch TFT screen, 0.3-megapixel camera, 1000mAh battery, 3.5mm headphone jack, powerful speakers, and torch. The initial wave of Jio Bharat phones will become available for purchase from the commencement of July 7th, 2023.

Reliance Jio has taken a significant step towards accelerating the transition from 2G to 4G networks across the country by introducing the Jio Bharat V2 phone at an affordable price of 999 rupees. Designed to provide cost-effective access to the pinnacle of Jio’s 4G capabilities, this revolutionary feature phone aims to serve customers still using 2G technology. The company has announced that beta testing for the initial batch of ten lakh Jio Bharat phones will commence from 7th July.

The Jio Bharat phone grants users the freedom to engage in boundless calls across India and conduct UPI payments seamlessly through JioPay. It also offers several entertainment options including JioCinema and JioSaavn support.

The business also sells a cheap monthly package for 14GB of internet and unlimited voice calls for 123 rupees along with the new phone. Compared to other operators’ feature phone offers, it provides 7 times more data.
