Earlier, Jaya ji would call and invite me and my family to the Holi celebrations, but gradually the invitations and contact completely disappeared. My career was unaffected, but it stung nonetheless. In other cases, it was even my little group of theater friends’ fault for motivating Amitji to turn against me.
